SOUR CREAM CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
3 sticks butter
3 c. white sugar
6 eggs
3 c. sifted flour, plain
1/4 tsp. baking soda
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 carton sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter. Add sugar and cream well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Add vanilla. Sift all dry ingredients together. Add dry ingredients and sour cream alternately to creamed mixture. Bake in 10 inch tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. (Check at 1 hour and 15 minutes but don't open door until then.)
