CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
5 eggs
3 c. plain four
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. milk

Cream together butter, shortening, vanilla and sugar. Add eggs one at at time, beat after each. Sift together flour, cocoa and baking powder. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Mix well and pour into a greased 10 inch tube pan.

Bake at 350°F for 1 1/2 hours.
