MACARONI AND FRUIT SALAD 
1/3 lb. acini di pepe (No. 34) macaroni
3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
3 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 can mandarin oranges
1 can chunk pineapple
1 sm. carton Cool Whip

Drain can of pineapple and mandarin oranges; keep juice. Cook macaroni according to directions on package. Drain and rinse in cold water and drain again. Cook the juice of the pineapple and oranges with the sugar, flour, eggs, and salt until thickened. Pour over macaroni. Chill overnight. Next morning, add the fruit and Cool Whip; chill. Other fruit may also be added.
