SUMMER SAUSAGE 
2 lbs. lean ground beef
1 c. water
2 tbsp. Morton's Tender Quick
1 1/2 tbsp. liquid smoke
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder

Mix well with hands; form into 4 small rolls about 8 inches long. Wrap in foil paper and store in refrigerator for 24 hours. Poke holes in foil with a toothpick and bake 1 hour and 15 minutes at 300 degrees on a broiler pan or rack with holes at bottom so grease will drain out as meat cooks. Store in refrigerator, will keep indefinitely.
