CHEESY BREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1/4 lb. grated sharp cheese
1/2 tsp. paprika
1 egg yolk
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 beaten egg white
Squares of fresh unsliced bread (like French bread), crusts removed

Cream butter; add egg yolk. Mix in cheese, mustard, and paprika. Add beaten egg white. Spread cheese mixture over all but one side of the bread (like frosting) and place unfrosted side down on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake 12 minutes until brown at 375 degrees. Serve warm.

These can be made ahead and frozen, then baked at party time.
