SWEDISH GINGER COOKIES 
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
6 tbsp. cream (evaporated milk can be used)
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. light cream (evaporated milk
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour

Boil syrup 1 minute. Cool slightly. Add syrup, butter, cream and spices. Dissolve soda in remaining cream and add to syrup mixture. Blend in flour. Refrigerate.

Roll 1/8" thick on floured board and cut into desired shapes. Place on greased cookie sheets, decorate and bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Yield: 4 1/2 dozen.

Good cookie for kids. Can be over worked with no harm to dough.
