SWEDISH SUGAR A COOKIES 
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla (I use almond)
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4 c. flour (sometimes I need a little more to stiffen)

Cream sugar, butter and oil; add eggs and mix until fluffy. Add dry ingredients. (I normally put everything in and beat with a mixer on high speed. Then I add the flour. Roll into balls the size of walnuts, and place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Press each cookie with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 to 375 degrees for about 10 minutes.
