GOULASH 
2 lbs. ground beef
1 lg. onion
1 green pepper
1 red pepper
1 box trio Italian pasta
2 (28 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 bay leaves
Pinch oregano
Pinch thyme
1 clove garlic
Hot pepper to taste
1 (12 oz.) can mushrooms
1/4 c. red wine
Olive oil
Grated cheese

Combine tomato sauce, bay leaves, oregano, thyme and simmer. Start water for noodles (follow directions on box). Chop onion, pepper and garlic. Slice mushrooms. Put oil in large fry pan and saute garlic, onion, peppers, adding mushrooms after peppers and onions have cooked down (approximately 5 minutes). Cook vegetables and mushrooms until golden. Add wine and cook until it evaporates. Add veggies and mushrooms to sauce. Place ground beef in same frying pan and cook. Drain fat and put meat into sauce. Add cooked pasta and mix. Serve with grated Romano cheese and cold beer.
