DISAPPEARING MARSHMALLOW BROWNIES | |
1/2 c. (1/2 - 6 oz. pkg.) butterscotch pieces 1/2 c. butter 3/4 c. flour 1/3 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 egg 1 c. miniature marshmallows 1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips 1/4 c. chopped nuts Melt butter and butterscotch chips in heavy pan (or bowl in microwave). Add to the butterscotch mixture the eggs, brown sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and vanilla; mix well. Fold into the above batter the marshmallows, nuts and chocolate chips. Grease bottom and sides of a 9" square pan. Spread in the batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Do not over bake. Center will be jiggly but firms upon cooling. |
