DISAPPEARING MARSHMALLOW
BROWNIES
 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1 c. semi sweet chocolate chips
1/4 c. nuts, chopped

Melt 1/2 cup brown sugar and butter in 3 quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool to lukewarm. Add flour, 1/3 cup brown sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla and egg. Mix well. Fold in marshmallows, chocolate chips and nuts, just until combined, about 5 strokes. Spread in 9" square pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes. Do not overbake. Center will be jiggly.
