BROWNIES SUPREME MARSHMALLOW
TREAT
 
1/2 c. shortening
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 c. flour
Salt, optional
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt first two ingredients together over low heat. Mix well with other ingredients and spread in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, no longer. About 2-3 minutes before brownies are done, remove them from the oven and top with halved marshmallows. Return to oven for remaining time or until marshmallows start to melt, but do not allow them to brown.

Remove from oven and press gently with spatula to cover top evenly. Allow to cool and frost with chocolate frosting below:

NO FAIL CHOCOLATE FROSTING:

1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 sq. unsweetened chocolate
1 egg, beaten

Bring this mixture to a boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and beat until spreading consistency. Spread over marshmallows on brownies.
