BUTTERSCOTCH HAYSTACKS | |
2 (6 oz.) pkgs. butterscotch morsels 1 1/2 c. salted cashew nuts or peanuts 1 (5 oz.) can chow mein noodles Melt butterscotch bits in top of double boiler, stirring occasionally to blend. Combine nuts and chow mein noodles; place in preheated low oven, 200 degrees. Add warmed nuts and noodles to melted butterscotch and stir until all are coated. Then drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Make sure nuts and noodles are warmed first so butterscotch will not set until all are spooned out. |
