BAKED EGG DISH FOR BRUNCH | |
8 slices white bread (remove crusts) 2 (6 oz.) pkgs. shredded cheese 1/2 lb. chopped fried crisp bacon 1 dozen eggs 1 c. milk 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper Grease a 9"x13" pan (use bacon drippings). Do not use butter. Lay slices of bread on bottom of pan. (Cut bread slices into halves.) Sprinkle with cheese and bacon. Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over bread. Refrigerate overnight. Bake 1 hour at 250 degrees. Serves 6. |
