CHEESE SUPREME SALAD 
1 sm. flat can crushed pineapple
1/2 c. sugar
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange Jello
1 c. grated American cheese
1/2 pt. whipping cream or Cool Whip
1/2 c. chopped or ground walnuts

Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes pineapple, sugar and 1 1/2 cups water. Remove from heat and add Jello. Stir well. Allow to cool until almost firm. Add whipped cream and grated cheese to mixture. Pour into a 9"x11" pan. Sprinkle walnuts on top and set until firm. Do not use Velveeta cheese and do not drain pineapple.
