ORANGE PINEAPPLE AND CHEESE
SPECIAL SALAD
 
1 can (20 oz.) crushed pineapple with juice
1 c. Colby cheese, grated
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange Jello
1 tub (8 oz.) non dairy whipped topping (Cool Whip)
1/2 c. chopped walnut meats

Place pineapple, water, and sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from burner, add cheese and Jello. Stir. Place pan in dishpan of cold water. Allow to cool. Place saucepan in refrigerator and check periodically until it starts to conjel. Fold in whipped topping and walnut meats. Spoon into mold or bowl and refrigerate.
