BLUEBERRY CAKE 
2 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. milk
1 1/2 c. berries

Beat egg whites until stiff. Set aside. Cream sugar and shortening, add egg yolks; then add flour, baking powder, vanilla and milk and fold in egg whites. Spread into 8-inch greased pan and add berries. Bake 40 minutes in 350°F oven.
