ANGIE'S SALISBURY STEAK | |
2 lb. ground beef 1 env. seasoned breading (I use Shake and Bake) 1/2 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk 1 medium onion, chopped salt and pepper, to taste 1 sleeve saltine crackers, crushed fine 6 tbsp. cooking oil (approx.) 3 pkgs. brown gravy mix (I use McCormick's) Combine first five ingredients and mix well. Form into large patties. Coat with crushed saltine crackers and brown well in skillet with hot oil to cover the bottom of the pan. Transfer browned patties to a 13x9-inch baking dish coated with cooking spray (Pam). Prepare brown gravy as per package instructions and pour over beef patties. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Serve with mashed potatoes for a great Sunday dinner! Submitted by: Angela Chartier |
