SALISBURY STEAK LIKE GRANDMA MADE | |
This can be cooked on top of stove, baked or cooked in a Crock-Pot. Great every way! 2 lbs. ground beef 1 cup oats (quick cooking kind) 2 eggs 1/2 cup green pepper, diced 1/2 cup onion, diced 1/2 cup celery (diced) can use some celery seed instead 1 can cream of mushroom soup (diluted) Mix first six ingredients. Brown in skillet first for each cooking method. If baking, put in baking dish, pour mushroom soup over. Bake at 350°F for 30-35 minutes. Stovetop: once browned, cut heat to low, add mushroom soup and let simmer slowly, stirring occasionally. Crockpot: brown meat in skillet; place in Crock-Pot and pour soup over. Cook on low 6-7 hours.
