POPPY SEED DRESSING 
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. vinegar
1 sm. onion, chopped
2 c. vegetable oil
3 tbsp. poppy seeds

Combine sugar, dry mustard, salt, vinegar, onion and oil in blender. Blend for 1 minute. Add poppy seeds and blend a few seconds more. Refrigerate.

Note: Serving suggestions: Fresh fruit salad, red cabbage with sliced avocados and green grapes. Bibb lettuce with grapefruit sections, sliced avocados and pomegranate seeds (optional as the season for these is very short).
