BUTTERSCOTCH CRISPIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar (packed)
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. quick oats
1 c. chopped nuts or coconut

Sift flour, baking soda and salt. Cream butter, adding sugars. When light and fluffy, add eggs and vanilla. Blend in dry ingredients. Stir in oats and nuts. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-20 minutes until brown.
