GOOD GREEN BEANS 
2 (9 oz.) pkgs. frozen French-style green beans
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. butter, melted
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 1/2 c. (6 oz.) shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Cook green beans according to package directions; drain well and set aside. Saute onion in butter in a large skillet until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper. Add sour cream; stir well. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly (do not boil). Remove form heat; stir in green beans. Pour green bean mixture into a buttered 2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Makes 6 servings.
