NAPA CABBAGE SALAD
Salad:

1 head Napa cabbage, chopped and sliced
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter (used to sauté ingredients)
1 (10 oz.) pkg. slivered almonds
1 sm. bottle sesame seeds (optional)
1 (10 oz.) pkg. sunflower seeds
2 pkgs. Ramen noodles, broken up (not cup version, get the one in the square package and omit the flavor packet)

Dressing:

1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp soy sauce, or more to flavor

In a medium skillet melt the butter and then add green onions, almonds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds and Ramen noodles. Sauté until ingredients are browned.

Let this mixture cool (can put in refrigerator to cool faster). Once the mixture is cool add the cabbage. Add the Dressing ingredients and stir well until it is well mixed into the salad.

You can add grilled chicken, shrimp, pork and diced peas and carrots, or water chestnuts... let your creativity be your guide. You can also wait to add the dressing just before serving to make sure all the crunchiness of the ingredients is preserved. You may choose to double the Dressing ingredients if you plan to add other ingredients than what's listed.

Enjoy!!!
