STRAWBERRY SPONGE TORTE 
2 pkg. frozen strawberries, sliced & thawed
Whipped topping
1 sponge cake, cubed
2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 c. boiling water
Whipping cream or Cool Whip for top
Fresh strawberries for garnish

Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add strawberries and let partially thicken. Mix in 1/2 pint whipped cream. Stir in cake cubes and place in mold. Chill torte overnight. Turn on cake plate and top with Cool Whip or whipping cream. You may garnish with strawberries.
