EASY CHERRY CRISP 
1 can ( 22 oz.) cherry pie filling, or other fruit pie filling
1 pkg. (9 oz.) white cake mix, 1 layer
1/4 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. chopped nuts, optional

Pour pie filling into an 8 inch square baking pan.; Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over all and top with nuts. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve hot or cold, topped with whipped cream or ice cream. Serves 6 to 9.
