1/2 lb. butter
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. cake flour
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour 3 times before measuring. Mix as any pound cake adding eggs one at a time. Place cake in cold oven and cook at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
