COLD OVEN CREAM CHEESE POUND
CAKE
 
2 sticks butter
1 stick butter
3 c. sugar
Dash of salt
2 tsp. vanilla
6 lg. eggs
3 c. cake flour (Swans Down)
8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese

Cream butter, butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add salt and vanilla and beat well. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each egg. Stir in flour until well blended. Spoon mixture into greased tube pan. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 275 degrees. Start off in cold oven.
