CURRY ALMOND SPREAD | |
1 lb. cream cheese, room temperature 1/2 c. chopped chutney (Major Grey's) 2 tsp. curry powder 1/2 tsp. dry mustard 1/2 c. finely chopped toasted almonds Mix all ingredients well - it is easier with your hands. Shape into two balls, wrap each in plastic wrap and chill. This keeps a long time if well covered. When ready to serve, take out 20 minutes before serving time, and garnish as you will. Makes 2 cups. NOTE: If you are having a big party, make just a single ball. If you serve this over the holidays, sprinkle the top generously with paprika and stick in a sprig of holly. |
