STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD 
3/4 c. butter
8 oz. cream cheese
2 c. whipped topping
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
2 c. crushed pretzels
1 c. sugar
2 c. water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries

Crust: Melt butter in the bottom of 8 x 12 inch baking dish. Stir in crushed pretzels and spread evenly in bottom of dish. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.

First Layer: Cream sugar and cream cheese together. Add whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust and refrigerate approximately 30 minutes.

Second Layer: Dissolve strawberry gelatin in 2 cups boiling water. Add frozen strawberries and allow to congeal some. Pour on top of cream cheese layer and congeal. Serves 10.
