SHORTBREAD COOKIES 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
2 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
3 c. flour

Blend sugar with butter by hand; add flour gradually and work in until it doesn't cling to your hands or the bowl. Secret of good shortbread cookies is in hand blending. Fill cookie press with dough and form desired shapes on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 8-10 minutes. Remove immediately to wire rack to cool.
