BEST BUTTER SHORTBREAD COOKIES 
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
2 tbsp. confectioners' sugar
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Blend sugar with butter by hand; add flour gradually and work in until it doesn't cling to your hands or the bowl.

Note: The secret of good shortbread cookies is in hand blending.

Fill cookie press with dough and form desired shapes on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes. Remove immediately to wire rack to cool.
