JANIS' QUICK & EASY GREEN BEANS WITH NEW POTATOES | |
This is one of our family's favorites all year long and tastes amazingly more like fresh than canned green beans. 2 (15 oz. ea.) cans cut green beans, drained 1 (15 oz.) can whole new potatoes 1 tbsp. Hormel bacon pieces 1 tsp. tarragon vinegar 1/2 cup water salt Drain green beans and rinse several times. Put green beans into a 2 1/2 to 3-quart sauce pan and add a liberal amount of salt. Let this stand for about 5 minutes. Cut potatoes in half and add to green beans along with water, bacon pieces and tarragon vinegar. Cover and cook over medium heat for 5-10 minutes or until warmed throughout, stirring occasionally. Serves 6-8. Submitted by: JANIS TEY |
