POTATOES AND GREEN BEANS 
This is a super easy and very tasty side dish that my great grandma used to make...a favorite in my house.

4 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 can green beans, undrained
1-2 teaspoons bacon drippings
1/2 to 1 teaspoon garlic powder
salt and pepper, to taste

Put bacon drippings and potatoes in a medium sauce pan. Pour green beans over potatoes and sprinkle garlic powder on top.

Cover and cook over medium low for about 15 minutes (depending on the size of the potato cubes).

Stir and enjoy!

Thank you for this recipe. I'm a 50-year old woman who wasn't taught how to cook. This recipe will come in handy because I very rarely purchase fresh string beans. And it will save me a lot of time.
