GARY'S COUNTRY STEW 
2 lb. chopped round steak
1 lb. chopped pork
4 potatoes, cut in quarters
2 onions, chopped
2 cloves, garlic diced
3 carrots, sliced
1 turnip. diced
1 head cabbage, halved (hearts removed)
1 cup ketchup (Hunts)
salt and pepper, to taste

Sauté meat and drain.

In a large pot add meat and vegetables less cabbage. Cover with water and place cabbage on top, add ketchup and season to taste with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and and turn down to simmer about 1 hour until potatoes are fork tender.

Serve with biscuits or garlic bread.
