SPOON BREAD 
3 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 1/4 c. cornmeal
3 eggs
3 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. cold water
2 tbsp. butter

Heat to moderate temperature milk, salt, and sugar. Add to milk 1 1/4 cups cornmeal, cook as mush. Stir to avoid lumping. Then beat together remaining ingredients and add to mush mixture. Pour into greased dish and bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
