1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 jar cherry or apple pie filling
1 can crushed pineapple
1/4 lb. butter, cut into 8 strips

Dump filling, pineapple and juice into pan. Shake cake mix all over top. Don't spread too thin. Add strips of butter all across top. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
