1 box spice cake mix
1 sm. box Jello (cherry)
3/4 c. corn oil
3/4 c. water
4 egg whites
8 oz. jar maraschino cherries, cut in strips
2/3 c. black walnuts, slivered fine

Mix cake and Jello together dry. Then add corn oil, water, and egg whites. Beat about 15 minutes, then fold in the nuts and cherries. Bake in greased and floured pan at 300 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
