JAMBALAYA 
1/2 stick butter
3/4 c. onions
1/2 c. green onions
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 lb. sliced smoked sausage
2 lbs. cleaned, cooked shrimp or 1 boiled deboned chicken
2 cloves garlic or 1 tsp. garlic salt
2 c. chicken broth
1 can beef bouillon
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 bay leaves
1 1/2 to 2 c. uncooked rice

Melt butter and saute onions, pepper and celery. Cook sausage enough to get most of oil out; drain. Add other ingredients and boil one minute. Simmer at least 30 minutes. Add meat and simmer 10 or 15 minutes or longer. Add rice (1 - 3 cups liquid) and bake for 30 minutes or until rice is tender at 350 degrees.

You can add cream soups, such as mushroom, celery, chicken or onion.
