BAVARIAN CREAM TORTE 
3 pkgs. plain lady fingers
1 pt. all-purpose cream
1 (11 oz.) cream cheese
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. frozen strawberry, raspberry or blueberries, thawed
2 tbsp. cornstarch

Line Springform pan with lady fingers, sides and bottom. Whip cream, whip remaining ingredients and fold into cream. Pour 1/2 mixture into pan, add layer of lady fingers and fill in with remaining mixture. Chill. Bring fruit to a boil, thicken with cornstarch (dilute cornstarch with berry juice before adding to berries). Cool, put on torte.
