TEX - MEX CORNBREAD 
3 c. cornbread mix
1/2 c. salad oil
1 lg. onion, grated
1 c. cream style corn
1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 lb. crisp bacon, crumbled
1/2 c. pimento, chopped
2 1/2 c. milk
3 eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. fresh or pickled jalapenos, chopped & seeded
1 tsp. garlic powder

Combine cornbread mix and milk in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Bake in 13 x 9 inch pan for 35 minutes at 400 degrees.
