HOLIDAY TORTE 
2 c. fresh cranberries or blueberries
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 c. melted butter

Grease pie plate or use cooking spray. Rinse berries and put in pie plate. Sprinkle nuts and 1/2 cup sugar over berries. Beat eggs. Add 1 cup sugar and beat well. Add flour and melted butter; beat well.

Pour egg mixture over ingredients in pie plate. Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped topping. (Note: Mix berries in summer for 4th of July.)
