DATE AND NUT TORTE 
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. flour
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped walnuts

Beat eggs, add sugar and beat well; add flour, baking powder, then dates and nuts. Spoon into 9 inch pie plate and bake 30 minutes until golden and crisp on top. Serve with whipped cream or topping.
