SCALLOPED TURNIPS 
5-6 med. turnips
1 egg
1/2 c. cream
Cheese

Boil turnips in salted water until tender. Drain. Slice or cut into chunks. Place in baking dish. Beat egg and cream together; pour over turnips. Grate or cut cheese into thin strips, sprinkle over turnips. Bake at 350 degrees until cheese melts. 6 servings.
