1 c. sugar
1 c. water
1 c. white raisins
1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder

Boil all 3 minutes together and let cool. Add: Lots of nuts Candied cherries Pineapple

Bake 1 hour in a very slow oven. Top with glazed fruit and nuts from down south in North Carolina.
