SIMPLE RED VELVET CAKE 
1 box white cake mix
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. sugar
3/4 c. vegetable oil
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. water
1 (2 oz.) bottle red food coloring

Mix all dry ingredients, the add eggs, sugar, oil, water and food coloring. Mix until blended, but do not overbeat. Make 3 layers. Bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Cool. Then frost with cream cheese frosting.

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box 4X sugar
1/2 stick butter
2 tsp. vanilla

Beat cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Add vanilla, then sugar. Beat until creamy.
