ELECTRIC MIXER PASTRY 
1 3/4 c. Gold Medal flour
3/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water

Stir flour and salt together in large mixing bowl. Add shortening; mix at low speed about 1 minute, scraping bowl constantly. Add water; mix until all flour is moistened and dough begins to gather into beaters, about 1 minute, scraping bowl constantly. Gather dough together; press firmly into a ball. (1 to 2 teaspoons water may be added if needed.)
