1 (4 to 5 lb.) rounded corned beef
1 onion, sliced
1 tbsp. brown sugar
Pinch thyme
12 oz. beer

Place onion slices in bottom of crockpot. Place corned beef in pot. Combine sugar, thyme and beer and pour over beef. Cook on low for 10 hours.
