OYSTER STEW 
1 pt. oysters
1 qt. milk
1 sm. can evaporated milk
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. salt
Pepper to taste

Drain oysters. Put milks, oysters, and butter into large saucepan. While cooking, add salt and pepper. Cook about 20 minutes until edges of oysters are well curled. DO NOT LET BOIL. Oysters may be removed, battered, and fried in oil.
