OATMEAL CRISPIES 
1 c. Crisco, melt & then measure
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
4 c. quick cooking oatmeal

Cream together Crisco, brown sugar and white sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Then add coconut and pecans. Then add flour, soda, salt and oatmeal. Do not use electric mixer. Mix all ingredients together and drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Press cookie mix in teaspoon or make small balls by hand. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Makes about 9 dozen.
