CORN FRITTERS 
1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1 c. pancake flour
1 can (1 lb.) whole kernel corn, drained
Shortening to fry

Combine egg with milk and beat thoroughly. Stir in flour and corn. Drop by tablespoons into hot shortening and fry until golden, about 4 minutes.

Serves 4.
