SAUSAGE AND RICE CASSEROLE | |
1/2 lb. sausage 1/2 c. and 2 tbsp. uncooked rice 1 med. onion, chopped 1 pkg. chicken noodle soup mix 1 med. can mushroom pieces and juice 1 c. finely chopped celery 1/2 green pepper, chopped salt and pepper 3 tbsp. salted almonds chopped 3 c. water Brown sausage in skillet with rice and onion. Stir until browned, then drain, add remaining ingredients and mix. Bake uncovered 1 hour 375 degrees. Stir twice during baking. |
